Joél White, only 25 years old, was a proud South OC native from Dana Point, CA with a deep entrepreneurial spirit and a bold vision for the future forged on his faith in Jesus Christ. From a young age, Joél exhibited a natural drive to carve his own path. He lived his life unapologetically, embracing each moment with a spirit unburdened by fear. As a photographer and content creator, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend, he leaves behind a remarkable legacy marked by love, generosity, creativity, selflessness and courage.

Entirely self-taught, Joél pursued his passion for photography with relentless dedication and extraordinary resilience becoming one of the most sought-after photographers in the Southern California automotive scene, branding himself with the industry known name “Faithinmyfuture”. His faith in Jesus was the foundation upon which he received his confidence to take risks, face challenges head-on, and pursue his dreams without hesitation.

What set him apart, was his enthusiastic inclination to champion others combined with a heart that saw you with admiration and kindness. From fellow photographers, content creators, musicians, models, graphic designers to a stranger he just met, Joél had a unique ability to influence and inspire us to to believe in limitless possibility, to imagine bigger and to encourage the discouraged . If there was ever any wonder as to whether it was because of his ambitious nature, his humble spirit or his freehearted character, I will tell you that although these were all attributed factors, it was first, his love and desire to know and have a relationship with Jesus that lit Joél from within and that made him such a joy to have known or encountered.

The bible tells us in John 8:12 when Jesus spoke to the people once more and said: “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

This light comes from the holy spirit, the one who wants to walk beside us and bring God’s light into our lives now and for eternity.

Although Joél’s life was short here on earth, he is very much still alive and well with Christ. His faith in his future lead him to not only accomplish all he was created for but more importantly, assured his future with our creator for all eternity. Joel’s life lived continues to inspire all who knew him to pursue their dreams with the same boldness and conviction found in unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. May his legacy serve as a beacon illuminating the path for others to follow.
